"Had the masas d puerco, really well made. Tried the rabo encendido it was great. Tried the bistec palomilla it was good too. The Moro, the white rice were ok. The mashed potatoes was blah. Frituras de malanga appetizer was too greasy. Jugo de marcuya was well made. 4 adults 1 child. 1 appetizer, 2 jugos, 1 croqueta, 4 meals. They charge containers to take left over food unfortunately. Nothing big but.... $111 18% tip automatically added."

"This is a modest, neighborhood Cuban restaurant with good food, huge portions, and value prices. They just upgraded their menu presentation to include an elegant binder pictured here. Everything looked good as I was perusing the tables when I walked around (you know you do this too lol). Chicken steak is HUGE, tasty, and melts in your mouth. Service from Diamelys (she also has a custom pen with the restaurant name and her name! Cool!) was fast, friendly, and efficient. You can tell they care. Only thing I thought could be improved was the black beans which could've had better seasoning. Others in my party ordered equally delicious Pollo a la Criolla and Chicken Vaca Frita. They would benefit from dimmable lighting vs florescent light which is "colder" (literally referred to as luz fria in Spanish). As a Wedding and Event DJ in Miami and South Florida, I'm more in tune with lighting levels as they create a better ambiance, as well as music. Loved the throwback Salsa playlist!! They have live entertainment sometimes on Sunday afternoons, and have a new beautiful bar area. All the more reason to have dimmable lighting which would be a modest investment and add much to the dining experience. Even loved the murals and art on the walls which would look even better with dimmable ambient lighting. Definitely recommend especially considering the value prices! This review edit was based on a repeat visit, and would definitely visit again!"

"Absolutely enchanting locale! The ambiance is delightful, complemented by exceptionally warm and caring staff. Although our server faced a language barrier, another gracious server stepped in to assist with seamless translation and order placement. The cuisine? Utterly divine! The bread paired with the breakfast omelets is simply heavenly, while the Mango juice is very fresh and just too good to be missed. The vegetarian Mexican fried rice was equally flavorful, and the Cuban coffee is simply too good to resist! Already dreaming of my second visit."

"The food and ambiance were good. Had some good buñuelos for the first time in years. The only thing I didn't like was that the malanga fritters werent fresh."

"Rinconcito Cubano is 100% worth a stop. I had the fried king fish with arroz moro and arroz con camarones, and everything was on point. The fish was crispy and flavorful without being heavy, and both rice dishes were packed with flavor and cooked just right. Portions were generous and the food tasted like it was made with care, not rushed. If you’re looking for authentic, comforting Cuban food that actually delivers, this place won’t disappoint. I’ll definitely be back."

"The croquetas here are delicious, all the food was very good except the rice with pork which I didn’t like, plenty of food, the vegetables side was surprisingly tasty. The service excellent."

"My first visit to El Rinconcito Cubano was a very pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a large, welcoming saloon with attentive waitresses constantly checking in to offer help. Service is excellent and really makes the dining experience stand out. Prices are very accessible for the quality offered. To end the meal, a classic Cuban cafecito or cortadito hits the spot, while our kids enjoyed a delicious chocolate ice cream. A great place to return."

"Amazing place! Great food, great portions, lovely server, and music. Definitely recommend coming here for a good sandwich or brunch. The only thing I sideeyed was a certain flag about lives that are blue that aren't the smurfs, but I don't expect anything else from Cubans in Miami. Overall, I recommend!"
